Report for Alenda Golf:-

It's been a number of months since we were last here,(due to the pricing)but it looks like the Alenda management have had to give in and conform with all of the other courses in these difficult economic times.Let's hope that it continues !

The course was in good condition (maybe they forgot to move the tees recently) especially the greens,they were a pleasure to putt on,as you will see from the results!

Although we had almost 40 members and guest playing we still only had 2 categories.

After the very poor turnout last week at Bonalba a Ex Committee meeting was called for by the Captin,click here to read a summary of what transpired.

This weeks GOLD Category winners,Scott Malden took top spot,but had to fight off a determined charge from the next 4 players who's positions had to be decided on C/B,of course Barry Roehrig was amongest the contenders,but it nice to see a couple of new faces also namely Kenny Hunter and Mike Freeman.	......

SILVER CATEGORY A few familiar faces in this photo.He has been consistant all year and this helps him to maintain his fight for the order of merit title,he is of course Alan Oldbury Rickers! on the left.with Gordon Boyne and John Simpson,just back from a long far away trip.(I don't think it was at her Majesty's pleasure)and also nice to see one of our lady members in the frame this time it being Mrs.L Pearson.

THE NEAREST THE PINS There he is again,(on the left) and centred is Perl Sabine happy to take a bottle of plonk back to the U.K (duty free !)and lastly Kenny Hunter has not been in the prizes lately but has really made up for it today.You might notice a player missing,well the 4th N.T.P. was Les Yates who,apparently was too shy for the photo shoot !	......
